Grace and Dermot

When I first met with Grace and Dermot to talk about their wedding I knew it was going to be a beautiful day! I really love hearing what couples have planned for their day, every little detail is important to me and it’s in these details that we get to see different personalities and unique style in each wedding. I had such a wonderful day photographing this stunning wedding and loved getting to know Grace and Dermot- they are such a perfect couple, and so lovely to spend time with.

Grace had her hair styled in Vintage Rocks by Clare Afshar and make-up by Paula Fraser.  I really can’t speak highly enough about both ladies and their amazing talents!
Dermot gave Grace a little bunch of bluebells, along with other gifts for “something borrowed” and “something blue” How sweet!!!
The wedding ceremony and reception were at Temple of the Winds, Mount Stewart, overlooking Strangford Lough. It’s definitely one of the most beautiful venues I’ve ever photographed a wedding, stunning scenery and beautiful grounds!
Much to everyone’s surprise Grace entered the room via a secret door disguised as a window!
Grace absolutely loves cherry blossoms and had their gorgeous cake-topper custom made by She Likes Surprises!
Everyone danced the night away with music by Dance Til Tomorrow. Grace and Dermot’s first dance was one of my all time favourite songs – Moon River by Andy Williams. Just beautiful!!

Emma and James

A midweek wedding post for you to enjoy! James and Emma got married at St Malachy’s Church, Hillsborough followed by a reception at the Old Inn, Crawfordsburn. St. Malachy’s is one of the most majestic Churches I’ve photographed, it has a stunning drive up to it and is right beside Hillsborough forest park – definitely worth a visit!

Emma’s dress was really stunning! Gorgeous bridesmaids dresses from Petticoat Lane Bridal Boutique in Hillsborough.
When we met James on his engagement shoot we discovered we had actually met before…James used to host some of the Belfast Cookery School classes which we had the pleasure of taking part in before Christmas. One of the top chefs in the country!
Emma and James’ beautiful little daughter Isla!
I absolutely loved their first dance song “When I’m Sixty-Four ” by the Beatles!

Kiera and Gary

The first May wedding of the year! Congratulations to Kiera and Gary. Check back soon for more photos, we had a few unexpected visitors during the portrait shots!

Blooms for Brides

Just wanted to share this beautiful bouquet with you from Kat and Stephen’s wedding in March. Created by Blooms for Brides – “A gorgeous mixture of stocks, bud roses, narcissi, tulips, chinchinees, waxflowers, thistle, veronica, gyp, eucalyptus…..all on a palette of soft and dusky pinks, ivories, creams and a touch of deep purple.” Delightful!
