I’m always delighted to visit the lovely Lusty Beg island in fermanagh, and even more delighted when it’s with a really great couple on their Wedding!  Caron and Paddy are amazing – we loved hanging out with them and their families so much.  Nothing fazed Caron at all.  Last minute makeup artist cancellation? So what! Trudging through wet grass? Easy. Standing outside in the freezing cold night? Bring it on!

I’ve never seen a wedding run so smoothly, this was chiefly down to the mother of the bride Jacqui. Deci later nicknamed her General Jaqui because of how she helped everything run so perfectly! Her second in command was the brilliant best man, Jason.  Anything we asked of him, he did it without question – from running around in the dark with sparklers, to blowing bubbles on the dancefloor, all in the name of photography!  Best men take note:  that is how its done!

The ultimate in camera shyness! I absolutely adored their wonderful winter wedding cake and matching details!

So many times I’ve driven past Musenden Temple but until this engagement shoot I’ve never actually visited it!  This was a return to the scene of the crime for David who proposed to Barbara at this very place.  For those who’ve never seen it before, its an 18th century building perched almost too precariously on the cliffs overlooking Castlerock.  Well worth a visit if you’re touring Northern Ireland.

We’re shooting Barabara and David’s wedding in the gorgeous Ballyduggan mill early next year. Deci and David instantly bonded over a shared love of the Boards of Canada, growing beards and Liverpool Football club.
